Call me Drawers. I am the editor-in-chief of CabinetMagazine.xxx. I prefer not to give out my real name because of my detractors, who are relentless. I was just coming of age when I first discovered my passionate obsession for all things furniform. My earliest adolescent fantasies swarmed with lubricious grotesques: enormously-endowed libertines fused with ornate bathtubs; naked young men composite with Empire consoles of the finest Brazilian Rosewood. For years, I suppressed these unspeakable inclinations: my true self remained locked away in the airless drawer of a secret shame.

Like Poe's purloined letter, my secret hid in plain sight. I entered a graduate program in Art History, with a special focus in the study of furniture. (My dissertation, had I ever completed it, would have been called The Erotics of Ergonomics.) I took up woodworking, the better to realize (in xylem and phloem, marblewood and mahogany!) the chimeras my countless nights of furtive "woodworking" had already engendered.

But it wasn't enough. It was only when I discovered a like-minded community of online enthusiasts that I began to feel comfortable with myself. Sites like Furniture Porn (now defunct) and artists like Peter Rolfe showed me I wasn't alone. My entire outlook changed, and I soon found a partner who was accepting (if not entirely accommodating) of my needs.

This website is my own personal cabinet of curiosities, a miscellany of furniform fun. Here you'll find photographs, erotica, testimonials, and my own fictional and philosophical musings. If you'd like to get in touch, please shoot me an email at cabinetxxx@gmail.com. If you'd like to purchase anything listed in the catalog, or just talk, that's the place to do it.

We/I accept submissions.
